Strawberry Buttercream

 Yes, Buttercream doesn't always turn out perfect.. Sometimes it could be the slightest bit curdled or maybe it turned out a bit light. It doesnt have to be pretty, it just has to be yummy! :)  Anyways I got this recipe from Addapinch.com, but I added a slight variation to it. And it turned really good!


1 cup of butter (unsalted)
4 cups of powdered sugar (sifted)
4-8 tablespoons of strawberry preserves
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons whole milk 


1. Cream the butter with the powdered sugar 1/2 cup at a time.  After each cup, add 1 tablespoon of the preserves.After that add the vanilla extract and beat on high for 45 seconds.
2 After that, slowly add in the whole milk and beat until consistency is to its peak. Add a pinch of salt and beat for 10 seconds. Cover with plastic wrap and store for up to 3 days Enjoy!
